Default 1998 trans am, camshaft question.

I havent messed with the car in several years.

I've been in a coma and my memory from that time frame is literally nonexistent..

I need help, I need help finding a cheap replacement camshaft that is a direct bolt in replacement..

I remember something being odd with the camshafts, is it any 3 bolt cam will work in the 98, and the single bolt cam will but you have to change the front cover and cam sensor and timing set?

Set me straight please.. If you know of a cheap cam I can stick in it to get it going to sell I would appreciate it..

Thank you
Brucer

Stock LS1 cams can be had in the classifieds here real cheap. Three bolt is what you want but they are really common. Good luck on the sell. These cars values have gone right in the ******* while you were out.
