Upper radiator hose can get scared by pulley
aww man, i just changed the fargin coolant....now i gotta drain it again.
the fricken upper radiator hose flexes or something....towards the pulley....it's got a scared indentation from heat and friction on it (the hose)....and the hose wall feels real thin there. had one burst in a Mustang while racing a POS Maxima and coolant was all over the place.
i bet yours is too :p

You can move it further away from the pulley by edging that top connection to the water pump backa little farther off the neck. It's a long neck, the hose doesn't have to be smashed on all the way to the body of the pump. Clamp it really well.
