Default pro 5.0 question...

ok well i didnt know if this belongs in the tranny section so i put it here. if i were to buy a pro 5.0 shifter and cut 1 1/4 inch off of the stick would an mba billet shift **** still thread on it right so that the design on the **** isnt like upside down or sideways or something, sorry for such a retarded question but i dont want a messed up looking shift ****.

If it doesn't line up, you can throw some teflon tape around the threads until you get it where you want it.

You can try the teflon tape.. Or you can stuff a little paper inside of the hole until it stops where you want it to.

My MBA shift **** came with little disc's that you could put in the ball to get the logo to line up straight.

I cut 1 and half inches of my pro5.0 stick, grinded it completely flat and it threads perfect everytime on different *****.

you could also maybe use loctite on it, and let it setup in the position you wanted it. i'd use the blue not the red unless you are really really strong.
