Default Idle problem

I just changed my spark plugs on my car 2001 SS,I used NGK TR55's,I did disconnect the battery so I could unplug some sensors. The car idles fine but soon as I give it gas it idles down to almost 400 rpm.I did not adjust the plugs out the box. They are .50 thats what I was told to gap to do.I have all wires on good and tight does look like any burnt wires.will the computer find the idle cause it was disconnected at the battery so it needs time to adjust?Thanx in advance.

It had one or two little misfires as I drove it around the block.

ok, need a clearer picture.

you start the car and it idles fine
you give it gas and the rpm drop or your rev and let off the gas and it drops?
and by misfires did you auto tap it to see those or did you mean back fires?

Thanx for the replys,I started the car again and all seems fine.It was when I rev the car the rpms would drop.No misfire just a backfire.I dont have any tuning software yet.Didn't drive it yet but its idleing fine now after I rev it.
