I have a 02 Trans Am WS-6, the factory rating is 325 hp at the crank. It puts down close to 310 rwhp. If you consider the "drivetrain loss" from the factory rating, then you can see that they are underated at the crank.

Stock they put down between 298 and 311 rwhp on average from 1998-2002, remember than can be a occasional one that might be a factory freak.

i know they are underrated from the factorty. just like my 03 cobra which dynoed consecutively 367,366,and 371 rwhp. as u can see thats well over a 390 hp flywheel rating. the thing is somebody told me they are rated as rwhp so i honestly don't believe it.

Mine was rated at 325 fwhp and put down 315 rwhp so the factory ratings are definitely off, mine would've been closer to about 365 fwhp. 40 fwhp over stock is a very welcome thing to have
