Just put on a set of nitto 555dr's , 17 X 315's. I launched a couple of times. Launched from 1300, was what i did on old tires. Bogged down. Launched from 1600, bogged down. Launched from 1900, still bogged. Said, screw this, and launched from 2800, which i fully expcted to spin. Wa pleasently suprised to hear a chirp, and then a catch, and then nothing but the smooth sound of my rev limiter steadliy climbing. Time to shift. Shifted hard. Again, a small chirp and then Traction!!! Am so excited. I love those tires. Might think differently when they are balled after 10k miles, but for know the are bad ***.

Do you have the stock rear end and clutch?

yea but the 12 bolt and stage two are comming shortly. just gotta choose gears and which clutch. any suggestions. Something moderate w/ the gears, and something that will last as far as the clutch goes. Am looking for a highway monster. 373's maybe.

I launch at 5,000rpm on my 315 Nittos. Try upping the rpm some and slip the clutch a bit.
