Default A couple of questions regarding Spark Plug Change...

Im doing a Tune up in a Malibu 98.....

First, I am trying to get a Damn plug out but its hard to do it. I have 1 extension for the Socket and I do need another one but 4 out of 6 plugs are out without another extension..... Is there any tricks you guys know to get it out ?

And the other question is, Should I use Anti-Zeze out whatever its called on the new Plugs for they wont be as hard to get them out later ????

most definitely use anti-sieze on your new plugs, you'll appreciate it later when you go to take that new set out. Not sure on what will work on a malibu as far as extensions go but good luck

the hardest part was getting my arm around the back between the engine and the firewall, the coil packs were mounted to the top of the engine and had to come off to get back there, took so long to do that i did just the front 3 and when i was bored i went after one of the back ones, took me like a month and a half to finally get them all done

8s not actually all that hard, just jack up the passenger side, and do it all from underneath, make sure its cooled down because your arm will be on the cat the whole time, took me about half an hour, but then again i did mine bright and early in the morning letting cool down all night, i was kinda sleepy when i did it
