Hey guys!!!!! Hey guys im pretty new here, and new to ls1's. I am 17 and currently own a 92 eagle talon tsi. I am pretty sick of fixing the damn thing and all my money goes into this thing just to get it moving. Well i joined this bored on two conditions...
#1 My brother used to be a member of this forum. He had a 01 camaro ss but crashed it in december of 03 i beleive. Anyways, ive been thinking about selling my talon and my brother has been talking to me about ls1's and lt1's and what not. I am pretty sure i will be selling the talon soon and possibly picking up a 95-98 z28.
#2 the second reason im here is just so chill when im bored and learn a lot more stuff on ls1's. So hopfully this forum will do

yea another 19 year old student hear, and i will tell you that you will learn alot here. when i first joined the site i couldnt get away from the screen! it is so addicting! but welcome and if you cant afford a new ls1, just do what i did! lol

yah but what about like insurance and all that. i only make 8$ an hour at bestbuy. so id have to pay monthly or w/e for the loan, then insurance, and then my 40$ cell phone bill. i dunt know if i can handle it?

I just picked up my Formula for $6300 took me a year to find it.be patient take in as much as you can here (I lurked the whole time I was searching for my car).A few years ago I had a 97 gst spyder,injen intake,blow off valve+exhaust.It doesn't come close to the feeling you get driving an Ls1 powered V-8.I'm 34 w/wife,child mortgage+all the bills,this car is my "keeper".I have owned over 20 cars throughout my life and stuck with one rule.Make sure you can afford to enjoy your car,don't let the car control your lifestyle-it's not worth it.If you want an f-body that bad,sell your talon-try to break even if you can't profit,put your pride on hold and buy a 4dr point A to B car,drive it for a year,save$ and keep searching.Best of luck
