Black WS6...negotiating price?
There is a local 2002 Ws6 for sale by a ford dealer and they are asking 17,500.
The car has 60k miles, is black with tan leather, t-tops, and is an automatic. My question is what would one try to drive the dealer down to if it had minor body issues such as rub marks where the driver side door rubs the front quarter panel, and the lower front quarter panel poking out a little bit because people dont know where to place a jack under these cars. I was thinking 15k because of the miles. What do you guys think?

If they don't give you the price you want then just walk away. POint out the flaws, and tell them what you are willing to pay for the car. Make sure what the price you tell them is less than you are willing to pay so that you have room to "move up" if need be. I personally wouldn't pay more than $14K for a 60,000 mile WS6, especially if it had some issues.

i was thinking the same thing and explained this to the dealer while i was test driving it today. i told him that most cars with this many miles and flaws usually go for about 14k.

A 2002 WS6 in good condition is going for 22,000 to 26,000 at dealerships. Honestly, I don't see the dealer going lower than they already have. Miles don't matter unless it's over 90,000 or so or really low (in which they'll up the prices)
Sorry man but you'll be lucky to talk them any lawyer. The jacking issue is easy to fix and if the rubbing isn't that bad it's probably easy to fix also. Actually for that low of a price I'd be worried the car has been wrecked or something.

Wow...either I got a really, REALLY good deal or this guy is getting ripped the **** off. I just got a 2002 Camaro SS for 18,000. The car is in mint condition (not a ding or scratch on the entire thing) and only had 17,000 miles compared to your 60,000 miles. Now I'm pretty new to all this, but if I had to answer I'd say you were getting ripped off pretty hard on this deal.

Side note: This car went to auction after sitting on the lot for months, where another local dealer bought it, and sold it to my neighbor for 13.9. Small world.
