Thanks ACW!!! Just for reference part#16837696 is for both driver & passengerside... Also RPO code 193 is for the 35th style seat pattern, 192 is for all ebony, just so there's no confussion.

Yeah, I noticed it's the same for both seats when I was double-checking stuff before adding it to my list, but didn't change my post here accordingly.

Is the listing of the same part number for both 192 and 193 incorrect? I'm not sure exactly what may have been different for 35th seats vs 'normal' seats.

Yes they're are different... The 35th style seats(193) are ebony with a grey center & have the 35th SS logo embroidered at the top of the seat(part#88899145) .. Here's a pic at the bottom of them... 192 is for ebony only.

Thanks, that's what I was suspecting. I had 35th seat cover numbers, but apparently GM forgot about them when writing those pages! Doh.

Need part numbers for the left and right interior door panels on a '01 TransAm WS6. Interior color is ebony(dark gray) leather and the car has the 10 speaker Monsoon stereo system. Can you help me? Mine has the dreaded cracks on the upper part of the sill.

Thanks!

Do a search. There is a site where you can download the parts catalog that has every part number for our cars.

Peace,
Craig.

Thanks for the suggestion but that is not the reason why I'm asking.

What is the reason then, hoping for a discount or something?

I think MM98 might work for a dealership.

We do have a sponsor who sells GM parts: http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?act...tart&catid=873

Naa, you all are way off base
I have a non F body question I need to find out about. I just wanted to ask a good GM technician or parts counterperson/manager about a problem I can't seem to solve. I can't get any answer with the dealerships around here.
Actually its about a Grand Prix. Thats all.

Ah! Doh Well, I'm no professional, but I do have a bunch of GM service information (including Grand Prix), so if you'd like to start a thread in the General Maintenance & Repairs forum, I can take a look. (There's a lot of other people who also read that forum who might figure it out if I don't, too )

Well, it wouldn't be the first time some have changed!

If you call a dealership, I think they should be able to cross-reference the old numbers and look up what they've changed to. Or maybe MM98 will return and look these up.

Old numbers were LH: 12559894, RH: 12561819.

Please let me know if you find out what they've changed to.

I'll call em in the morning and let you know, thanks!

EDIT: Found one, the RH was changed to 12582224 (which matches the 02 valvecover), and the left is still showing up as unlisted.

Thanks! I already had those as new numbers for the 01-02 LS1/LS6 version, so I guess they decided nobody should be buying the older LS1 version anymore if they can switch to these instead.

Looking for the part number for the small plastic screws that hold the trim piece over the spare tire. These are the ones you can twist open with coin. I'm looking for the ones for a 1999 TA, graphite/dark gray color.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone know the part number for the gas cap? I lost mine and the two posted in thread don't work at GMPD.

Think this is it
rear compartment trim retainer (fits 0.250 hole, 1.01 lg, 0.7 od, nylon, black) (93-02) = 10121502
