another 'what to get' thread
ive got a 02 convertable TA , completly stock except for loudmouth exhaust
im looking to spend around 500 just on parts, ive come down to 3 choices
subframe connectors, strut tower brace and lid with kn --or-- headers--or-- save some more and get a ramair hood. what route would you take?

the sound of headers are sweet, but I would go the first route. subframes and strut tower are great choices, as well as a lid is the best bang for the buck. If the headers can't take in much air, if you don't have a lid then you won't see all of the performance gain as possible. you also have a conv. so subframes should be a definate.

I'm in a similar boat, added a Magnaflow catback and billett grille to my 02 Z28 Vert...
I think I'm going with some sort of weld in SFC next...to my primal savage mind, it seems like more power would just twist the frame even more, so SFC just makes sense to me.

SFC, STB, LID, poly bushings or go with aftermarket lca, phr, sb. Oh and a must for a tighter ride, put a poly on the torque arm bracket, makes a noticable difference but a pain to install, but well deserved mod.

I put a Magnaflow and a Volant CAI on for about that much, next up is brakes or SFC's. I say get the SFC's I would have but I'm not putting many miles on it right now and little abuse.
