how to fix up my LS1 to around 450rwhp

There's a couple things you can do.
Heads/Cam
Procharger
STS Turbo
150 shot.
I would go with a heads/cam setup, because it's easier to get that out of the way with some forced induction bolt being in the way. You can always add FI later on.

well just go with some hooker full length and a thunder racing reverse split cam with a off road y going through a dynomax race bullet dumped before the axle, and asp undrive pulley, and a ported throttle body with a good clutch and you be making 450 with no problem....because my buddy has that set up and he is making around 450hp

go H/C, get some long tubes, ls6 or better intake, pulley, ported throttle body, suspension work. you can also put on a wet shot for added insurance when racing, it will help with the tq. numbers. also at 450 you will be breaking stuff left and right, like clutch, rear end, tranny.
also do you have a m6 or auto?
450 rwhp will beat a stock cobra, and it will be a drivers race when aginst a pulleyed one. my buddy has one and it it just crazy fast, put down like 756.
good luck. you will need it.

ns I disagree. You need more than just a cam and boltons to reach the 450rwhp plateau.
You will want a heads/cam setup that compliment eachother, or your gonna have to go with a max effort cam like the Trex, and even at that you will need all the boltons like FAST 90/90 to get there. Smokin01ta had 456rwhp with the Trex, fast 90/90, and other boltons. However this is not the road most traveled. I recommend a much milder cam and a great set of heads, along with supporting boltons of course. This will give you great streetability, good power under the curve, and the numbers you are looking for. Good luck!
