Default ls1 oil pans

are there any steel oil pans for the ls1 or are they all cast aluminum? is there any difference between late model small blocks and the ls1?

The canton aluminum pans here are the only ones that I know of that are not custom made. But they are aluminum. Is there a reason you are wanting a steel pan?

Heck, even all the LS1 oil pans aren't the same

i need steel so i can clearance the bottom for ground clearance and the front part of the sump to fit around the front axle. otherwise i wouldnt worry about it.

Or you could convert to a dry sump

close, for the bottom anyways. i need to cut into it horizontally from the front to make room for the front axle tube. not a whole lot, but i need to be able to do so. and im trying to keep from going dry sump. just a simple stock style steel pan is what i need. by the time im done with it it will look like those posted above.
