Default Dont know whats causing this

ok well it started before i did the headers and all that and it just started out of the blue one day dont know what i did or what happened. well when i start to slow down the car downshifts fine and all but when it downshifts into first the oil pressure drops and the idle drops to nearly 500 RPMs then pops back up to 700-750 RPMs. it only does it after the car is warmed up and ive been driving for about 15 minutes or so, what the hell could it be??? the car runs awsome and i dont think the RPMs are suppose to go down like that when i am coming to a stop right??? anyone else have this happen??

my 2002 a4 with lid, ported tb and a cut out idles at 500 when its warm anyway.

I think when you slow down and you downshift the engine disengages (cant spell) and the idle drop to normal (which is why the oil pressure does) and then it grabs the gear below while the car is still going slightly faster than the gear@500rpm which pushed the rpms up to the 750 range.

i think you are noticing it now that you car is lounder and you can feel the rpms more.
