hey i got a 01 ws6 stock and wanted to know how much and what all i have to do to get it bored out

Do you mean bored as in more cubes? If so your goin to need new pistons and usually people replace the crank and rods while their in there. what exactly are you lookin do more specifics would help

If you want more HP, then go for the lid, cat back, longtube headers, heads, cam, Fast 90 intake/tb, nitrous, etc etc.
If it's running good now, why go to the expense of rebuilding the engine just for more cubes, there are easier ways to get hp with an LS1

Not always, like I said there are lots of other ways to make HP, other than tearing it all down, boring the cyl, and reassembling the engine, and unless you go for higher compression pistons, your HP increase (from the small displacement increase) is definately not going to be worth the price for the rebore, and the associated parts/labor
