Default 02 sensor?

My 2000 ws6 just threw an ses light, had it scanned came back that it was the o2 sensors, I'm new to the ls1 so this is a newb question, how many 02's are on the car? and what's some good ones to get?

there are four total, one before each catalytic converter & one after each

Bosch is the best. Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts. Any car parts place should carry them.

What were the code(s)? Buying 4 is going to be expensive, and probably not needed.

I'm not sure my wife took it garage saling this morning and had it scanned, would the code identify if it's the front o2's or the rear 02's?

Yep, the code(s) will tell you exactly which one(s).

The front two sensors are the important ones, make sure their good and buy an $80 plug and play 02 simulator. It will let your computer ignore the back two as if they were 100% (weither they end up being that way or not).

I found out the hard way how important the O2 sensors actually are. Caused idle issues, random misfires, fixed the O2 sensor, problems went away.
