Default Silicone Spray or other...leaky ttops

Howdy! I have a leaky driver's side ttop and was curious as to what the best way to fix the problem without gettin all new 300 dollar stripping is...

I have heard of a silicone spray, but how do you use it (i.e. spray it liberally on the stripping of the ttop portion?) and what brand is it and how much and all that jazz?

Also who has used this and how well does it work? Also, any other methods to fix the problem without spending hundreds on new stripping? Thanks!

Probably not the weatherstripping, but won't hurt to try. Manual says to wipe them down with dielectric silicone grease.

I used silicone spray on my IROC-Z after cleaning them good and making sure my seals were still good, and it made a huge difference. It really sealed them up during a rain.
