Help on getting started
I just recently purchased a 2000 camaro SS.38K miles (auto trans) with SLP package which includes a SLP lid and SLP exhaust. This is the first LS1 i have owned and its great. really fun car. anyways i want to get started right away putting a little more power into it. I dont want to go to extreme right away because im still getting used to driving it. i was thinking of putting a LS6 intake. or getting a nice tuner and tuning it up. Im new to this so i can use all the advice i can get.

Welcome to the board and the addiction!!
Sounds like a nice ride. There are plenty of options when it comes to bolt-ons. The LS6 intake is a great idea and longtubes would be good as well.
That with a good tune would definitely make a difference in it.
From there the list goes on and on...you can see some of the mods I have in my sig and the power it got me.
Good luck and enjoy the car!!
