LT1 for sale, good deal?
Hey, im new here, looking at my first car...found a cheap LT1
is it a good deal? im working on a limited budget ( i wanna have some money for insurance saved) Craigslist
i talked to the guy already, the motors been rebuilt and drives mint. it has an aftermarket taller wing and factory style body kit, im not a fan of them, how hard is it to remove a body kit?
any info would be great

With mods like that, looks like its been beat pretty good. But maybe not.
Whats he mean the motor's been rebuilt? Get as much info on that as you can.
Take it for a ride yourself, see how smooth/solid the car really is.
(Watch for proper oil pressure and temp of course)
If all goes well
I would offer him 2700 cash, maybe a little more.
______
As far as the spoiler goes, you can get a stock one used or on here for cheap if you bide your time and look.
As far as the body kit, it depends on who put in on, and how nice of a kit it is. It shouldn't make any visual difference, but some kits require drilling and bodywork mods.... some don't require as much.
That hood is pretty nice though... how nice is the paint?

as far as the spoiler goes, a 96/97 SS wing would fit, right?
hopefully the body kit doesnt leave marks... but the hood and probably spoiler will have to get painted (a close family friend owns a boidy shop, body works not too expensive)
im going for a test drive probably next week, my friend (who owns on 00ss) is coming with me to do the drive and check it out...
thanks for the info...
