You can add keyless entry by changing the BCM from a car that has keyless entry with your BCM. Get one from a breakers yard.
You then take the new BCM to the GM dealer and get it reprogrammed to match your key chip.
I added keyless to my car by fitting a BCM I got on ebay.

I am not sure what the BCM controls, but I know it does vats and keyless entry.
How this came about was I had a 95 Z28 before this car and that had keyless entry. So I was disappointed when this one didn't. The 95 Z28 has a seperate module in the pasenger kick panel to control keyless. The 96 and onwards it is controlled by the BCM.
I found all this out by searching this MB and CamaroZ28.com. So I see a BCM on Ebay and it says it came from a keyless entry car.
Now I am in the UK so I buy the 15 resistors to represent the 15 different key pellets our keys have. I fit the BCM and try each resistor in the Vats plug under the steering wheel until I find the right one, the I send off to the USA for 2 key blanks with the correct value pellet and get them cut to restore vats to my Z.
I think I paid about $60 for the BCM, but they are a lot more expensive from GM about $200!
