Exclamation Help

I have noticed in the past month that when i start my car it makes a loud hissing noise, when i give it a little bit of gas the noise goes away, my father said it might be a vacuum line, I am completely lost on where it would be if it were that, plus the noise only lasts for the first few minutes the car is started, that's from a cold start too. Plus i think i need new idler pulleys any advice on where to get them because the dealership want 60-75$'s a piece.

Thanks -
Joe

Since it's only on cold starts and just lasts a couple minutes, I'd look at the air pump and AIR hoses/connections.

Below the headlight cavity, drivers side front - follow the hose coming off the air box if you're stock. To check if it's air pump related you can pull the AIR PUMP fuse under the hood while it's making the noise and see if it stops. It'll throw a code (P0412 on mine) but turn off after a few starts after replacing the fuse.
