leak... there was a vacum leak n my egr valve hose would that have me look mpg...and some horsepower cuz its been for a good while prob...sence i bought it thxs

there was a hole in my egr valve hose, which was making me rev higher in rpms...im just askin if it was a vacuum leak could i have been losing mpg, or hp?
