Plastic Alternator Splash Gaurd
I have a really newbie question so here goes.
Recently, when driving around in the rain, I have noticed that my battery voltage plummets. I was told that this is because I dont have a generator splash gaurd and the belt is slipping on my alternator. This made sense to me, so I went to the dealership and paid the $8 for the plastic mat. Now I dont know how to install it. I just jacked my car up and have no idea where it would connect to. Any help and photos would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

Water splashing on the alternator should INCREASE voltage. When I did my H/C pkg. I had coolant from the temperature sensor leaking on to the alternator and was off the charts..
I would bet your alternator is getting ready to take a dump on you if it already hasnt yet.
