Question Mod Thoughts... please help me

So I used to have a Z28 that I did stuff to, but that was quite a while back and I haven't come to the boards since I sold it. You can see what I did to it in my sig.

My question is this... I'm thinking of getting headers along with a cat-back for added flow since I am considering doing a cam and then heads in the future. I have heard the loudmouth with LTs and it sounded raspy, which is not what I want. What do you suggest?

Also, this car has the "Ram Air" I guess with the air filter feeding from the nostrils in the hood - should I still do the lid?

Anyway, I don't know that I am going to go the N2O route on this car. Exhaust will be early on and the lid depending on what y'all think, then suspension and wheels, the cam, then heads, then stall, and then maybe just enjoy it.

Can I have your opinion please?

i have hooker lts and the adjustable borla and is not raspy at all it sounds good.if it's legal where you are find the headers that don't have the egr hookups they ALWAYS break off. the lid is a good thing. get a good air filter too. don't mess with the mass air but do port the throttle body or get a bbk 80mm then find a good shop and get a good tune thats pretty much what i have with a stock trans and converter and i ran a 12.6@ 112 at a crappy track on E/T streets. but mosly have fun.

"Ram Air"

Headers, then go straight for the supercharger.

LTs and a good flowing exhaust, like Magnaflow, Borla, Powersticks, or True Duals. Dont get a MAF, its a waste of money. Aftermarket ones are hard to tune and the stocker is good for 450-500hp. Loudmouth will def be raspy with no cats. Sounds bad *** though!
