Can someone tell me what a new and rebuilt tranny for a 98 TA WS6 would cost?

depends, is it an auto or maunal?

I ended up having like $1600 in my 4L60E and i just sold it to a guy on here. Once you start getting all the strong stuff inside of it the money just adds up quick. But without the torque converter i only had like $1250 in it.
