Ummm... no.
310whp T/A and Formula... 325whp WS6 and 400hp to the crank. I have the GM brochure sitting in the living room.

There's no way you'd only loose 15whp through the power train.

The GM rating is at the Crank NOT the Rear wheels
Most F-bodies average between 285-315 RWHP

I agree
12-15% loss depnding on Transmission.
Most Stock F-bodies should be around 340-350 FWHP

WS6's, FireHawks, and SS dont make any more noticable power than normal Z28's or T/A's. The higher power rating is for marketing. So all LS1s are making 345hp give or take. And generally most manual car loose about 15% power to the wheels, and autos around 20%.

325 hp is flywheel hp rated from factory. w/ all mods u mentioned installed might give you 320+- rwhp. at strip maybe .20 faster. depends on weather since horsepower is about +- 15/20 gain from mods. vararam is a waste, other mods mods u mentioned will hwlp some now and more with other mods but, vararam. you'll .

lol yes

GM rated the f-body like this:

98-00 Z28/Formula/Trans Am 305hp
98-00 SS/WS6/Firehawk 320hp (better exhaust - ram air hood)

01-02 Z28/Formula/Trans Am 310hp
01-02 SS/WS6/Firehawk 325hp (better exhaust - ram air hood)

Now for the SS and Firehawk you could get more options on the Dual-Dual which made them 330hp (98-00), 335hp (01-02). Dual-Dual with the SLP lid (02 only) 345hp.

Peace,
Craig.

msd wires = ok if your stock ones are bad, but not needed = no HP gain.

velocity stack = snake oil = no HP gains.

slp lid = a lid is a lid is a lid get the cheapest you can find = 5-7 hp gain.

LM exhaust = good, loud but good. = 10-15 hp gain.

KN filter = up for opinions = 0-5 hp depending on who you ask, I saw no gain.

You want to go faster in the 1/4? Start with a higher stall converter.
