Default Simple AIR Question

I removed the air and egr systems a while back when I put my LTs on, but the air tube on the manifolds have sprung a leak from under the block off plates. I used the gasket that came with the ex manifold gaskets and some block off plates I made out of steel. What would be the best way to fix the leak? Should I just replace the gaskets and tighten things down, Im not sure how well that sealed in the first place, or should I use something else to seal the plates to the manifold? (JB weld was an opinion given by someone) The car will never have the systems back on it and having the headers removed to have the tubes cut off and welded up isnt really an option right now. Thanks for the help.

Thinking the easiest/cheapest thing to try is replace the air tube gaskets w/new GM gaskets. GM PN 12553617.

Staringback, how did you apply the jb weld? Did you just put it right on the plate and the manifold? Also, did you cover the hole in the manifold with anything between the plate and the manifold and just put jb weld around it?
