Default 98 throttle body for gm ls6 intake??

i am going to pick up my 98 ta this week. i want to put a GM ls6 intake on it and i noticed that the part # for the throttle body between the 98 and 01+ is different. will my stock 98 throttle body work on the ls6 intake?? or do i have to upgrade to the 01+ tb??
thanks in advance

All good, your 98 throttle body will worth just fine with the LS6 Intake Manifold.

Enjoy!

Exactly how much horsepower do you actually gain by just switching to an ls6 intake?

I'd probably say 10rwhp.

Its a really good bang for the buck mod. Hard to beat for $300 new.
