Default Tach wiring Question???

I need help with wiring my Digital Pro shift Tach gauge. I have the diagram and I know where all the wires will be connected to, but I don't know what is the best way of connecting the gauge wires??? Do I use splice connectors or do I solder??? Could I damage something if splice connectors are used for all wires??? What kind of damage could I do if I use a splice connector on the #10 PCM wire for the tach output???

Just splice it...Others will say solder but I haven't had any problems at all...
