Hi I had my 99' Z28 for years now (we bought it new) and I've been experiencing some problems for a while now. When I turn corners (especially long wide ones) I hear and feel a knocking sound. It's louder when turning right then left. My ASR also randomly turns off, resulting in a higher/ jumpy idle for some reason. Someone told me I needed a Diff. overhaul so I bought new gears and a ring & pinion kit, but when my buddy opened up the housing he said the gears looked completely fine, No missing teeth, no shavings in the fluid. I don't know what it could be.. Maybe shocks are blown/LSD controller is broken? I'm about ready to trade my muscle car in for an integra or somethin if I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I'd take it to a shop but, I just can't afford to spend 1-200$ everytime I need to know what's wrong with my car. Please help me? Much appreciated,
