Attachment lift points for LS1 installation...
.....you're probably thinking, "what the hell is he talking about?"
Basically what I'm asking is, where is the best place to attach the chain on my LS1 for when I go to lift the engine and trans into the engine bay? Right now I have them on the front and back of my engine on the cylinder heads near the top. Is this a good spot. I actually have the chain bolted in two spots as a safety precaution. I'm not so worried about the weight of the LS1 but rather the added weight of the 4L60E which I think is an absolute pig. Here is a pic to show you what I'm talking about.

I built a lift plate that bolts to the valley bolt holes and adjusts fore and aft to level the engine/trans. Sponsors------------------->
sell a basic lift plate but also require removing intake and valley cover.
I don't know about lifting the eng./trans. combo using the acc. bolt holes, sounds risky to Me. Carl.
