my car takes a while to shift from 1st to 2nd, leaving normaly the engine will rev to about 3200rpm and sit there for a couple of seconds them shift. The trani will shift if i drive to around 2200 then let go. Also when i get on it it sit on the rev limiter for a couple of seconds also, any info would be great, i want to get the car to the track but can't with this shift problem. thanks adam

you dont wanna go near the track right now. Maybe a solenoid or the converter acting up. Check the fluid for metal flakes/anything weird/level.

well i checked my trani fluid and that checked out good, no shavings aslo.
