Default Proper Spark plug gap?

98 LS1
160 Degree thermostat
essentially stock
I've read .035 to .05 What is a good gap for the stock LS1 heat range with TR55 Plugs.

After a third search, I'm seeing a recommended .05 to .055 for a stock engine.

and a .035 for small nitrous shots.

Edit: Mine came in at a .057 gap. I think I'll go with that.

Just double checking. It never hurts to be safe.

(except maybe the first time)

If you spray it, use TR6s gapped around .035-.038

You'll be fine with the TR55s with a gap between .050 and .060
