You answered you own question. Just because of gas prices don't be a retard and use regular.

I use to use regular for about 5 months in my old LT1 before I found out that you these cars recommended 92 or 93. "premium". Use it, its worth the money, these cars hate regular. I hear a spark knock coming your way if you continue to use that. Just my $.02 on it!

I only goto Shell, and use 93. Nothing more, nothing less. Even though it burns a hole in my wallet. But dare I say were all about the "Smiles per gallon" not the "Miles per gallon."

I'm with you. Keep a granny tune in the low rps and she runs just fine.

I've been starting to try 87, but I've also been driving the car regularly. Haven't heard any pinging but I'm keeping the rpms below 3k, and sticking to around 65-70 on the highway.

I paid 3.95 for premium today. I am saving the receipt for when I pay for over 4 bucks a gallon for the first time, lol. Probably next week huh?

I use 87 whenever I'm really short on cash or *have* to hit Caseys. No problems. Otherwise, 93.
