Default Thinking about getting intake/exhaust help please

So im thinking about getting a new intake and possibly exhaust.

slp has what looks like a decent intake/exhaust package and i know they have a good name and reputation.

http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=28021

also the k&n intake looks decent plus i like that they have dyno results

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=57-3022-2

does anyone have any experience with either one of these or any other sugestions. i could also use some exhaust suggestions. i dont want anything super loud but i do want a performance gain and a reasonable price.

Go with Hooker ceramic coated long tube headers and finish it with slp loudmouth exhaust

leave k&n alone...much better intake kits on the market

id get a lid instead of the k&n. they see similar gains and the lid is cheaper.

What about the slp lid/smooth baffle they have?

is the slp loudmouth exhaust good stuff?

also, whats the problem with the k&n intake?

its one of the only ones backed up with a dyno sheet and it seems like having the heat shield and all that stuff would be better than just having a lid.

Both are fine. Loudmouth is loud.

The smooth baffle is a waste of money IMO. Its more for looks than anything. I would definitely get the lid. The loundmouth is very loud if you like that kind of thing.
