Guys Spraying With N20 Big Stalls
Just installed my T400 w/ brake. I got a neal chance N20 Stall. On NA stalls to 5000 rpm. Im just finishing up tunning the motor and got the brake wired up. My deal is on motor its slower then crap out of the hole but when it gets going it hauls. With a N20 stall do you have to spray it out of the whole to make it hauls A$$.
when tunning the car the vert flashes to 5000 then grabs and takes off. It is supposed to be 4400 na and 5000 on spray.
Motor turns 7200 rpm.
1. What RPM do you set yours at rpm switch at. NOS MINI CONTROLLER
2. Would it help if I ran a 2 step if so which one.
3. I just dont want any puddles

.
When buying a N2O converter, you tell them when you will spray it, so they can match it to your chassis & tire.
One of my cars can launch with a 6000+ converter & one needs a 4000. Big tire, small tire.
The proper converter should not hesitate. When I let go of the button, I'm gone & I mean right now.
No delay, then take off. As with anything, it's the total combination. Good luck.

All convertors are a bit different . if its going to 4500 na thats a good start. a nitrous convertor when running on motor will probably have a bit of a lag on the hit. When you shift a th400 on the juice your looking for 1500 rpm fall back. where it leaves depends on the cam, intake, shot etc. where do you plan to shift? on the motor its noramlly 1k less thsan a 200 shot on the flash. so if your shifting 7K you want the nitrous to flash to about 5200 then shift 7K and it come back to 5500 or so. alot depneds on peak power on the nitrous.

I told them My cam specs when marty built the stall for me. I plan on shifting around 7000 to 7200. I know marty said that on this stall It would be better to have a brake on it vs a non brake t400. What rpm would you set your car up to hit spray if you are t braking it to 5000 rpm. I didnt want it to start spraying if the car is at the line until im ready to leave.
