Walbro 255 is the usual. Make sure and hotwire it when you install it.

I agree with Will up there...make sure you get the hotwire harness as well.

I agree, I'm still on the stock pump with a 125 shot and it's fine but it wouldn't hurt to change it. I'm going to before I start adding other mods. Probably go with what others above said Walbro 255/Racetronix with the hot wire harness.

Its time for people to start considering age in their statement of the stock pump being able to handle a certain HP.....his fuel pump is around 11 years old now. I wouldn't risk it still having the same flow capacity as it did when it was new.

i wouldn't risk it on a racetronix pump. i got one early this year in the group purchase. the pump has been on the car for ~6 months and less than 10k miles. actual milage could be 4-6k. close to stock car and all n/a use.

well, the pump went out on me a few weeks ago. took racetronix 11 days after a 3rd email to reply and give me some bs. i sent another email asking if he will warranty the pump and still no reply after 6 days.

i got lucky that the pump went out on me close to my house and cost me $60 for a tow. one more day and i would have been out of town and the tow cost would have been very high.

there are people out there that have not had any problems with them, but if you do. don't expect much from them in support.

if i had it to do over again, i would get a harness elsewhere. ebay has them for ~$60. and do the walbro. just remember to not let the tank get too low.

i'm cutting my losses with racetronix and have nothing good to say about the product or support. go check the threads in the fuel and injection section and read what people have had to deal with when the pump goes bad.
racetronix will give you some bs about how the pump is a walbro and walbro doesn't warranty them. fact is the pump has a racetronix casing, racetronix box, and racetronix install instructions. yet they want to dish it off on walbro. they also had some people do a lot of trouble shooting while the problem was the pump. do the trap door mod for sure if you go racetronix. and keep a spare fuel pump in the trunk.

there is no statement on racetronix' site regarding a warranty on the pump just on the harness(supposedly). but there is no disclaimer statement of non warranty either. i don't care about the technical wording, but with the money i spent, i would hope for more than what they've done since the pump went bad.

i also ordered a set of 8 FLOWMATCHED injectors and was sent regualr ones from them. it did eventually get resolved and i was not in a rush to install them. but good thing i checked and asked around to verify so that i got what i paid for(i hope so).

The racetronix kits come with the new harness...the Hot wire is just a dedicated wiring harness between the pump and the battery/alternator...this helps stabilize the voltage at the pump

I think people here have the idea the race tronix is a different pump than the walbro 255. the last kit i did (last year) it was a 255 with a harness same pump just the harness is the difference. and in my opinion you can make there kit for $30 and get the walbro for a lot less threw some of the internet suppliers.
