how did you guys drill your fast intakes for direct port????

Default how did you guys drill your fast intakes for direct port????

i need some direction on how to drill/center the hole perfectly in the boss that the fast intakes have for direct port.


what did you guys use to get them all centered perfectly?

The fast intake already have a dedicated area for the nozzle. With out having the ability to mock it up on the mill all you can do is hold a hand drill perfectly in the same angle for each runner.

Don't be nervous about it. Its really not all that involved and I think you might be making more of it than it really is. Keep the intake in a neutral position and just hit each runner on that side and then flip it. Keep an eye on the drill to try and keep the angles consistent. Start with a smaller drill bit and work your way up. Also, don't run the tap in too deep otherwise you'll have a loose fitting nozzle...remember these are tapered threads.
