Default standalone line

When cutting and threading my standalone fuel cell line. Was I supposed to use pipe thread on the hose screwing into the rubber? Shouldn't the rubber seal itself in the threads?

Talking about -AN fittings into braided line? If so, no sealant required.

No, the standalone kit came with a 5 foot line and some ends. I only needed 2 feet. I cut the line and made a 2 foot line. Then, place the ends as stated in the instructions.

What type of hose and ends are you using? For the AN fittings and stainless steel braided line you do not need any tape.

No you do not need to use any sealer on the threads that physically make contact with the hose. It will seal itself.
