thoughts on my combo?
Hello,
I am building a ls6 with 12 to 1 compression, 23x/24x 110 ish lsa cam, abosulte 2.5 heads, cometic mls gaskets, arp head studs, stock polished crank, la enterprise forged h beam rods, lunati 4032 forged pistons, and the diamond moly steel ring package gapped at .016 top, .018 2nd. It's a stout setup for n/a, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on how you think it will handle some nitrous. My concerns are the high cr, the tight lsa, and the 4032 pistons... the 2618 pistons are stronger, but I already have these bought and installed, and they have less expansion issues than the 2618's. The cr is high and the lsa tight, but this will run NA 95% of the time. Essentially, it's a max effort NA motor I'd like to give a 75-150 shot of nitrous. Thoughts ? I will be getting ls1 edit when I finish, so could tune for less timing, and potentially more fuel (looking to go dry with 42 lb/hr injectors). I figure with the high cr, I'll need some 104 unleaded... Just sounding this off you nitrous guys. It will be fun enough on motor only, but wouldn't mind an extra kick on track days.
Thanks,
Bryan
