Impact of headers and camshaft?
Forced to upgrade to a new clutch and updated hydraulics, so now i'm getting ready to start doing the power mods i've been planning.
Current mods as follows:
Nitto drags
4.10 gears
Lid
Cutout
Ported tb
Ripper Shifter
Subframes
I plan on doing a set of pacesetter longtubes, nitrous, and ls6 cam, then bumping the limiter up to around 6700 or so. The car will mostly be for street use with the thought that the 4.10s will quickly push me into the powerband of the ls6 cam, and I can hit the nitrous in second gear so as not to lose traction. With the ls6 cam and electric cutout the car could sound virtually stock when I want it to (minus the horrendous gear whine i'm stuck with), and have very good street manners at lower rpms.
My question is how much more efficient will the nitrous be with the headers/cam vs. without? Is there a significant increase using, for example, a 100-125 shot? I'd prefer to do the nitrous first as it will be a larger increase, cheaper, easier to install in the short period of time i'm home, and probably more fun . However if the headers and cam make a huge difference in the power gained, i'll just set the car up properly first before going to a nitrous shot.
Thanks!

U will have 45-60rwhp 20-30rwtq extra on NOS, headers and cam than running NOS alone. And 35-55rwhp 10-15rwtq extra with the headers and LS6 cam N/A.

From what lss1power posted, looks like i'll be a little better off with the nitrous and doing the cam shortly after before the headers. Sounds good to me
