Default Who has a window switch for their nitrous set-up? Got a few questions.

I think I know how it works. Is this a reliable way to go? I'm trying to go the safest way.

I plan on getting a 2400 stall and would like the nitrous to kick in about 3000rpms and cut-off about 5500. I don't want to spray out of the hole, so I figure that would be the best way to go.

There shouldn't be any problem doing that, right?

Thanks.

You shouldn't have any issues. If you have a cam then you might want to set the cut off at 6-6400 rpm's.

I shift about 5900, so I'd figure that I'd cut it off a little bit before. I gotta try a keep the same tranny for awhile .

If you set the switch at 5500, and shift at 5800, you will really feel the car "bog" from 5500 until it shifts. I have an M6, 3500 and 6000, I shift at 6100 (I do speed shift, and spray thru the gear shifts) . Happy motoring.
