Question How much timing with 200 and 250 shot w/race gas?

I am just wondering how much timing I can run with a 200 shot and also a 250 shot? I will be running race gas from a seperate fuel cell

I was running 27-28* with my old H/C set up with a 150 shot so could I maybe try 25*? When I dyno tune this damn thing some day I will start lower but would like to see what you guys run?

I've always heard to pull 2* per 50hp being sprayed. I run 28* with 150 shot, since before I put the N2O kit on, I had the timing bumped up to 33-34*. I always use 93 octane gas, and never have any KR, on or off the bottle.

2* per 50 shot is pretty much the standard. BUT my tuner said on race gas (104 unleaded) I should be able to easily do 26* on 150 shot. SO with your set up 22-24* on a 250-200 shot SHOULD be OK.

If you have LS1 Edit, just start at 20*, log the run, watch the O2's and KR. If every thing is OK than bump it up 2* and log again. I personally would not go beyond 24* on either a 200 or 250 shot.

Engine File - Ignition - High Octane -

I would also check your Low Octane table -- I run the Low Octane 1* lower than High Octane

I run ~22 degrees on the 300 shot (707 rwhp total) with 100 octane unleaded.
Dont be afraid to retard the timing.
