What converters everyone running on nitrous/th350?
I think I'm going to swap out my converter to see if I can go any faster. I'm thinking the one I have is to small. I was wondering what everyone was running as far as brand/stall size for a th350?

You're gonna get a ton of opinions on this one. I personally run FTI. This is the way I went about it.
1. What is your goal?
2. Who is running the similar times you wish to ultimately run with a similar combo?
3. What converter are they running and is it doing what they want it to do?
4. Research the said company and look for good and bad posts.
5. Make sure the said company actually races and tests their products regularly.
6. Call said company and see what kind of customer service they offer and who you feel the most comfortable with.
I took this route I took and I went with FTI. They have been great for over 3 years for me and my last restall was spot on.

My FTI was specd for a 200-250. Only hitting it with a 150 right now but she runs great. N/A it stalls around 3800-4000 and on the 150 it stalls around 4400-4500. Your best best is to let the company you end up dealing with determine what stall speed is best. I know Greg asked me a bunch of questions like cam size, drag car or street car, or a little of both, cubic inch, how much spray, etc etc...

Got a 4k stall for a 700r4 from them and it is what they recommended. Put the converter in the car and and it wiped out the the trans. Sent it back. Got the trans fixed. Put our Coan racing 2800 converter while we waited and it ran flawlessly. Got the converter from PTC and put it back in the carand had an immediate vibration issue. Called PTC and they didn't know what was wrong. We didn't either. Took it out and sent it back. They said it was ok. Coan went back in and was fine while we waited for the PTC. We put the PTC back in and it was vibrating as we were making a good test drive on the interstate and before we could get back to the shop it fried the trans.
We sent the trans back to Coan to get built since it was their trans. Pitched the PTC in the garbage and have been using the Coan Racing converter ever since. No issues.

At least you got one in running good now.
I wonder if that was some sort of flex plate issue with the PTC? Only thing I could possibly think of.
