Default Best piston ring for nitrous?

Looked all over sites read different stuff. What's the best ring to go with? Not looking to spray all the time but I want it to hold up when I do spray

How much spray?

If you're going to spray alot, the kind piston is going to matter a little more compared to what the ring is made of.

A piston with the ring down further in the bore with more meat on the ringlands to me is more of an issue. Plus having a good compression height

A good ring on a not-so-good of a piston choice is a worse situation than a mediocre ring on a good piston.

You can call total seal, or the piston manufacturer. If you are going to ask in here, you need to give more info on your combo, and how much you are spraying

I don't think he is talking about brand or name but rather the material. I could be wrong though.

Gotcha. I'm running a tool steel top and a Napier 2nd ring. But I'm running that because that is what Diamond and Total Seal recommended for a 36 jet.

Building a 6.0 with diamond dome pistons (forged) spraying 150-200 shot. It's not gonna spray all the time everyday. But if I want a good track pass or to drag someone down the street I don't want the ring to be tore up
