Default Cam for n2o 421cui

Going to be going with a 421 lq9 in the near future, was looking for some input on recommended cam specs, car will be on pump gas, kooks 2" long tubes, ported Vic jr with 95mm tb, th400 tranny 9" rear.

This will probably be better suited in the Gen IV section. I would call Geoff@EPS or Martin @ Tick and get them to custom spec something.

Which heads are you running? What bore, stroke, and compression? Also I suggest a super victor if its in the budget.

Its a iron block 421 so its going to be 4.030 bore and 4.125 stroke and he said pump gas so it will more than likely he will be around 11-11.8:1.

You're right though we still need what head is going to be used and a super vic would be better on this many cubes.

OP, I see you said "95mm tb" so I would assume you are using an elbow. It has been shown that a car with an elbow doesn't make as much power as a 4 hole tb setup

Depending on compression, what cylinder head is being used, what they flow, how big of a shot and how high you want to turn it will determine how much duration and lift the cam needs. Among other factors.
