Default TNT kit with Mallory window switch - Help me get this thing to work!

I followed the guide written for wiring the Mallory and a TNT kit. The solenoid still will not click on!

Mallory says...

Black = ground (check)
Red = power source (check)
Orange = on, ground the other one
Purple = off, ground the other one
Green = tach (check)

I have the extra purple and orange wire grounded along with the black wire

TNT guide says...

One wire from solenoid = ground (check)
Other wire from solenoid = relay 87 (check)

Included is a diagram on how mine is wired. Everything is getting power, I checked with a lighted switch (turn it on and it lights up with the same terminal that goes to the relay, so it IS getting power)

The only wires I do not have hooked up is one purple wire from the window switch, and one from the arming switch. I did not have a guide telling me where to put the purple wire, so I put it to one of the terminals on the arming switch, the OFF terminal. The other terminal (ON) is going to the WOT switch

I guess that must be wrong. Should I put the orange wire (ON) to the ON termianl of the arming switch, and the other purple wire from the window switch to the relay (85)? It told me not to use the middle terminal, but rather use terminals 87, 86, 85, and 30

Any input is welcome, thanks

make sure you have the w0t switch connected using the back two prongs on the top...not the front two...

There are only 2 prongs on the WOT switch, both are on the topside
