I can hardly find anyone using a plate kit on this manifold. Everyone seems to be using a direct port set up. And the threads i do find are back from like 2009-2011, and the reviews are mixed. I'm just wanting to run a 200 shot at the most.

Yea common sense tells me that it should work just like any factory or FAST intake, but then again I'm not an engine builder. Personally I think it would work just fine but I'm just a little worried because 1. I cant find hardly anyone using a plate on the manifold, only direct port kits, and 2. Some threads I read mentioned the intake is bad about the nitrous puddling with a plate kit and some engines have detonated. But that could be from the tune or the user not knowing what they are doing.
I'm just wanting to spray a little because I'm so close to breaking 10s (I would all motor but I'm over 5,000ft elevation), and I'm running out of mods I can to do it besides finish the suspension and a little weight reduction. Just bored of being in the 11s for almost a whole year

No it will be fine. The nitrous plate prays toward the center of the intake. Shouldn't puddle or anything. A stocker should puddle up before that thing would. Most go with a direct port for bigger nitrous hits. You'll be fine with a plate. I got a plate on a tbss intake and I promise u its not as open up as yours on the inside.
