Dual stage plate and wondering about fuel line on Mustang.
I have a 89 Mustang with a LS3 (about 450hp) with 92mm Nitrous Outlet dual stage plate.
My old 93 LS1 Mustang had Corvette filter and 2 stages 78mm plate but motor was only at 345-365 range. This worked good at using about 200 max combined.
I can run the Corvette filter which has a return and I have number 6 all the way to a y block. One side goes to the engine and the other side can go to another y for the 2 fuel solenoids. I plan on only running about 200-250 max combined. I wondering if this might be too much of a pressure drop. I have a 255 intank but can upgrade to a 320 also.
Maybe upgrade to a 8 line all the way up but corvette filter is pretty much a 6 line so not sure if that helps.
or use 1 line to one fuel solenoid from y block and the 2nd line from the fuel rail? not sure if this really changes anything.
I also have a nice fuel regulator I can use to bring pressure down maybe to 40 range for nitrous, maybe easier hit then.
Just looking for some ideas, before I buy needless fittings and line. thanks
