Default tapping plastic fuel tank for inline pump

has anyone ever tapped the plastic tank to run an inline pump to feed the nitrous system by itself so there is no lean spike and to keep from redoing my current fuel system.?? This is on a 200o z28

Most people just run one of these setups.

Its its own seperate fuel system specifically for nitrous. The pump in the 15004 handles around 700hp at low pressure, plenty for one of our direct ports.

Now, back to your original question, you may be able to tap it and use some JB weld, that could be hit or miss though, I've never messed with a plastic tank. I'm sure others will chime in.

I've helped a couple of customers with this setup but it was on C6 Corvette's. They used an inline pump, 2 filters and the regulator mounted up under the hood. You will need to drill two holes. One for the feed and one for the return. I'll see if I can't find the parts list that was used.

Yes.... drain the tank and put a bulkhead in the bottom of the tank. Don't use a pipe thread fitting as it will not stay tight, and leak.

I agree with this. The only reason we couldn't use a bulkhead was where it had to be tapped into on the vette tank.
